I did my MBBS in 1987 from Ayub Medical College, Abbottabad, Pakistan. After graduation I completed my house job in Medicine and Surgery.
After passing my public service commission I was employed as medical officer DHQ teaching hospital Abbotabad in department of Causality and ENT. I decided to go abroad in 1991 and did my training in Ireland. I did my part 1 FRCS from Royal College of Surgeons in Ireland and did my part 2 in FRCS from Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, UK.
After my fellowship I developed interest in Rhinology and started training in Rhinology and Endoscopic sinus surgery. I was being trained in all the Ear, Nose and Throat surgeries but with the special interest in Rhinology. I also have a vast experience on Ear surgeries ( Mastoidectomies, Tympanoplasty, Grommets ) and performing them routinely in my hospital . I have developed a state of art ENT department in Alice Springs , Australia and In Doctors Hospital and Medical Center , Lahore, Pakistan.
In June 2000 I got a ENT consultant job in Alice Spring, Australia. I worked there for 3 years and then decided to come back to Pakistan. I am working in Doctors Hospital and Medical Center since August 2003 and enjoy providing my services in Pakistan.
Recently in the last 2 years I have started treating Spasmodic Dysphonia with Botox which was not being done in Pakistan Before. I am proud of my profession and would love to continue providing my services in Pakistan.
